do u ever walk from a social interaction like damn. this is why i keep my mouth shut most of the time
society if men felt even half the guilt i do
the sun literally sets and casts a golden hue over everything every single day and we fucked it all up and invented paying rent
sibling relationships are so strange… like i love you. you will never understand me in a way that matters. we are the same person in drastically different ways. we are sewn together. we don’t talk. we are attached at the hip. you wish i was never born. can i call you. let’s eat together. i forgive you. etc
i don’t have enough photos of you on my phone to make one your contact picture. we got the same tattoo completely by coincidence. why do you always get to be mario. i love the meals you cook. we live in different universes. you can stay at my house if you need. we have never been friends. you are more important to me than anyone on this earth
“everybody experiences that” says mother who has the same symptom of the same mental illness
ur twenties are for seeing how many mistakes u can make in the shortest amount of time possible and getting a cool haircut
For someone who is tired 100% of the time, I sure am bad at sleeping.

I think there should be nerdy gyms and I’m not even joking about that.
Gyms are always marketed around appearance and personal improvement and ~wellness~: lose wait, get hot, eat less! Blah blah blah. They’re soulless and tap into a form of motivation that only works for so long (and is more than a little psychologically damaging for many people)
What if instead, a gym was a place of play, with exercise focused on enjoyment, adventure, and entertainment. It could even be like a D&D campaign:
- You’re not running on a treadmill to get hot or whatever - you’re running down a beaten woodsy path to get word to the king that invaders have landed on your shoreline.
- The rowing machine isn’t a monotonous repetitive exercise to get muscles. It’s a serious endeavor where you row with your companions to steer your Greek trireme or Viking warship into battle.
- You’re not lifting weights - those are packs you must carry in your adventure across remote, hostile countryside
- This isn’t an exercise routine. It’s today’s adventure campaign, with several different activities required - scaling a mountain, fleeing a dragon, etc
- …and so on.
Because exercise is healthy, but that doesn’t mean it has to be a boring adult obligation. Why force yourself to exercise the same way you force yourself to file your taxes, when you could instead engage in an hour or so of play?
This is a silly post, but I honestly just think serious adults with serious jobs should still have some time on the playground a few days a week.
@bagelsand-creamcheemse you understand my vision 😭
If I could get on a rowing machine with a bunch of other people and sing sea shanties at the same time I can garan-fucking-tee I would be there every day
There needs to be a gym/game arcade hybrid. Like, pure imagination in RPG is fine, but if I could see a magical island getting ever closer while I’m on the rowing machine, or see a fortification get taller stone by stone as I lift, that would be even cooler.
getting older for me has just been realizing how important it is to check the weather forecast ever day
rain from 4 to 8 today? gotta make sure i tell every person i see
i’d get so much done if it wasn’t for the overwhelming urge to not do anything
With all due disrespect anyone who thinks a full grown adult can survive off of 12$/hr in 2023 should die
girls deserve to feel comfortable existing in their body in every way. girls deserve to not be sexualized just for existing. girls deserve to feel safe in the body theyre in. girls deserve to feel beautiful in their most natural states. girls deserve to exist and take up space
